Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using, or purchasing from, the Studio Door website. By using the Studio Door website in any way, or by purchasing from it, you unconditionally agree to the following terms and conditions.


Definitions

In these terms and conditions the following definitions and rules of interpretation apply:

You: the visitor to the Studio Door website, browsing and proceeding to offer and actively engage in purchase of products from Studio Door.

Condition headings do not affect the interpretation of the conditions.


The contract

When you place an order to purchase goods from the Studio Door website, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order.

The order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the dispatch confirmation e-mail.

Any products on the same order that have not  been confirmed in a dispatch confirmation e-mail to have been dispatched, do not form part of that contract.

You shall we responsible for the accuracy of the order and for giving us any information necessary for us to perform the contract.


Age restrictions

Studio Door does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.


Use of the website

The website may be used by you only for lawful purposes in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the website and any transactions conducted on or through the website.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of the information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied, in relation to its accuracy.

We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or server are free of viruses or bugs. We will not be responsible for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.


Orders from outside the UK and Ireland

Studio Door does not deliver outside the UK and Ireland

Orders placed for delivery outside the UK and Ireland will be rejected and any payments refunded.


Goods, pricing and availability

The quantity, quality, description and/or specification for the goods shall be that set out in the order.

You are responsible for checking and satisfying yourself that any specification given is accurate and adequate for the goods.

Whilst every reasonable attempt shall be made to ensure that the goods meet the specification, Studio Door shall have no liability for errors in any specification or details supplied by you or otherwise.

Details and/or specifications on the Studio Door website are intended as a guide only and give a general approximation of the goods.

You confirm and agree that you have not relied upon the details and information contained on the Studio Door website unless you have sought and obtained written confirmation from us of their accuracy on the website.

We reserve the right to make changes to the specification of the goods as required from time to time by law, applicable safety requirements or manufacturing requirements provided that they do not have a material adverse affect on the quality and/or performance of the goods.


Payment

You agree to pay the price for the goods at the time of placing the order.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and are correct at the time of entering the information onto our database. The total cost of your order is the price of products ordered plus delivery charges as stated upon the website.

You must pay Studio Door the full price of the order before any part of it will be dispatched.

You will pay all sums due to Studio Door under these terms and conditions by the means specified without any set-off deduction or counterclaim.


Delivery

Unless previously agreed in writing, any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only. Studio Door shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods however caused.


Returns and cancellation

You are permitted to cancel your order and return goods purchased via the website within 14 days of placing an order.

If you wish to cancel you must notify us in writing or by e-mail within 14 days of the date of placing the order.

Orders for handmade, specially commissioned or personalised goods may not be cancelled.

All goods must be returned in their original condition.

After we have received the goods, we will credit your credit or debit card with the purchase price of the goods no later than 30 days from the date of receipt.


Intellectual property

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content supplied as part of this website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors.

Studio Door hereby contests that all content on this site that is not specifically the property of Studio Door is used with and offered to you on this site with full agreed permission from all and any original copyright owners.

By visiting this website and offering to purchase products from Studio Door you hereby consent to the following condition(s), that:
- You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by Studio Door.
- You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only.
- You agree not to use, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, modify, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

The arrangement and compilation of all content on this site are the exclusive property of Studio Door and are protected by international copyright laws.

Intellectual property rights in the Studio Door goods shall remain vested in the authors of the works unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Changes to the Service and Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Conditions of Use and Purchase at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Conditions of Use and Purchase in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.


Warranties

Studio Door will perform our obligations under these terms with all due skill, care and diligence and in performing our obligations under these terms will comply with all applicable laws.

Neither party shall be liable to the other (whether in contract, tort, including negligence and breach of duty, or otherwise at law) for any indirect or consequential loss; or loss of profits, revenue or goodwill of the other party.

Neither party excludes their liability for death or personal injury if caused by their own negligence


Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations under the contract if such failure results from circumstances which could not have been contemplated and which are beyond the party’s reasonable control.


Waiver

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.


Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or any contract between us and you, then you agree to attempt to settle the dispute by engaging in good faith with us in a process of mediation before commencing arbitration or litigation.


Law and jurisdiction

This contract and these conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
